이곳에 있는 사람들이 좋다.
인턴이지만 그래도 Core Management Team에 속해 있는 덕분에
각종 주요결정과정에 참관할 수 있고
Core Management Team Meeting 참가는
나에게 있어 다양한 그리고 현실적인 수업로 다가온다.
하지만 이런 것들에 기본적으로 전제가 되는 것이
저 Core Management Team에 속해있는 사람들이
나에게 하나라도 더 가르쳐 주려고 한다는 것이다.
그 배려 덕분에 현재 많은 것을 이곳에서 배우고 있다
하루는 회사에 출근하고 보니
내 책상 위에 메모와 함께 화분이 놓여져 있었다.

비서인 Lisa 아주머니가 Cutting한 식물을 물에 담아서 준 적이 있었었는데
Deputy인 John Snyder가 그 걸 보고 간적이 있었다.
그 때가 추석기간이여서 가족도 보고 싶고
괜시리 시무룩했던 아침이었는데 마음이 너무 따뜻해졌었다.
그래서 감사의 메일을 보냈었었는데
오늘 회사에 와서 메일을 확인해보니 이런 답장이 와있었다.
Juyoung,
I'm glad I was able to lift up your spirits a bit today. I wish I had known it was a Korean holiday this week. We could have done something to celebrate. I know it is tough being away from family and friends, especially when it is on the other side of the world and 12 or 13 hours difference in the time zones.
When I get back from Orlando, I'll take you and Catherine out for lunch. It will be a late celebration. Not quite the same as being home to celebrate, but we'll make it fun anyway. You're doing a wonderful job with the work you're doing with Catherine. And I thank you for that. Keep up the good work.
Enjoy your time in NYC and I'll see you on the 16th.
